In a recent post at Online Video Insider, the importance of product video was discussed. 9 out of 10 people watch online video, and about 12% of those people will view a product video.
That’s a lot of people if you’re selling products.
But the most important thing is what actually happens when a customer has viewed a product video: L’Oreal saw an 18% increase in average order value for transactions made following a video promo. That’s right revenue was nearly one fifth higher.
One thing is clear. If you’re selling products online then video simply has to be on your agenda!
